API Reference

A minimal, versioned REST API for programmatic access to your Lawvora documents. Available on the Firm plan and above.

Base URL

Authentication

Create an API key from Settings → API Keys. The full key is shown once on creation and is never retrievable afterwards. Send it as a bearer token in the Authorization header of every request.

List Documents

Returns the documents owned by the API key holder, each with summary and risk-rating metadata. Read-only.

Rate Limits

Requests are rate limited per API key owner. Every response includes rate-limit headers so you can back off before hitting the limit. A shared limit of 600 requests per minute per key and per IP also applies; it sends RateLimit-Policy, RateLimit and Retry-After headers.

Error Responses

Errors are RFC 9457 application/problem+json with a stable code, a status, a human-readable detail and an instance that matches the X-Request-Id header.
